Watch Trump’s viral video after he gives play-by-play commentary during an NFL game

Donald Trump surprised viewers by making a special appearance in the FOX booth during Sunday’s Washington Commanders vs Detroit Lions match. He joined Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma and other FOX commentators.

Trump’s trademark bluntness was evident as Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota moved into the red area. He said, “I believe this is an important pair of plays.” Mariota was lined up to take a second and seven from Detroit’s nine-yard line. They have to score a touchdown. We’ll say it another way. The only thing they need to do is score a touchdown. “Forget the play”.

Mariota then hit Deebo Sam for a touchdown of 4 yards. The Commanders failed to make the two-point attempt and were still 16 points behind.

The president also talked about his football career during the visit. When asked how many touchdowns Trump scored during his time at the New York Military Academy he replied, “I don’t think I did, that was a very long time ago.”

Trump attended the NFL “Salute to Service”, an event in Landover Maryland. He read out the names of the new enlistees in the U.S. Military, a feat first performed by a president in a regular season game since Jimmy Carter in 1978. Albert reminded Trump that Carter made his appearance on the day Bucky Dent, the Yankees’ hero who stunned the Red Sox in 1978 with a famous home run.

Trump has had many encounters with sports since he returned to the White House. Trump has attended the Super Bowl and other sporting events, including the Daytona 500 and U.S. Open.

I love it. He said it was a “microcosm of life”. It’s like the real world. “The good, the bad and ugly.”

Air Force One performed a spectacular flyover over Northwest Stadium prior to landing at Joint Base Andrews. As usual, the president stole the show when he arrived just before halftime.
