Top U.S. military officials have acknowledged that Americans may be taken hostage in Hamas’ invasion of Israel.
Now comes an alarming report that a record number of suspected terrorists have crossed over into the United States during the border crisis.
Ben Bergquam of Real America’s Voice showed footage of “fighting age men” from the Middle East being apprehended at the southern border.
Thousands of “special interest aliens” from Middle Eastern countries have been apprehended by Border Patrol agents attempting to illegally cross the U.S. southern border over the past two years, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data.
Fox News’ Bill Melugin provided the most recent data.
NEW: Internal CBP data provided & confirmed by CBP sources reveals thousands of “special interest aliens” from mostly Middle Eastern countries have been apprehended by Border Patrol while crossing into U.S. illegally over last 2 years.
Syria: 538
Yemen: 139
Iran: 659
Iraq: 123…— Bill Melugin (@BillMelugin_) October 10, 2023
This data, obtained by Fox News, was confirmed by multiple CBP sources and reflects apprehensions between ports of entry between October 2021 and October 2023, indicates that agents encountered 6,386 nationals from Afghanistan, 3,153 nationals from Egypt, 659 nationals from Iran, and 538 nationals from Syria during that time period.
In addition, agents encountered 12,624 Uzbeks, 30,830 Turks, 1,613 Pakistanis, 164 Lebanese, 185 Jordanians, 123 Iraqis, and 15,594 Mauritanians.
Special Interest Aliens are foreign nationals from countries identified by the U.S. government as fostering or protecting terrorism or posing a potential hazard to national security.
Paul Sperry noted that CAIR may be assisting Palestinians coming to America.
DEVELOPING: Council on American-Islamic Relations has been helping illegal PALESTINIAN migrants after entering U.S. through Arizona to stay inside America. They are traveling with migrants from Venezuela. Since “Palestine” not a recognized country by U.S., they cannot be deported

These figures do not include CBP’s Office of Field Operations encounters at ports of entry. It also does not include the numbers who have snuck past agents without detections — sources claim there have been over 1.5 million such “gotaways” during the Biden administration.
During FY 2023, 151 individuals on the FBI’s terror watchlist were encountered at the southern frontier between ports of entry, more than in the previous six years combined.
In fiscal years 2021 and 2022, according to former acting ICE Commissioner Mark Morgan, an estimated one million illegal border crossers made their way undetected into the interior of the United States, also known as “got-aways” in official Border Patrol parlance. These are illegal border crossers captured on video surveillance or by sand footprints but never apprehended. Morgan adds an additional one million “unknown” presumed escapees to this number, which the Department of Homeland Security calculates as purely internal official duty.
This implies that Homeland Security must assume that more than 114 individuals entered the country undetected, notes Todd Bensman, Senior National Security Fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies.
“In May, federal prosecutors in Ohio indicted a self-proclaimed ISIS fighter,” Bensman pointed out. “This terrorism case demonstrates bad guys abroad are very well aware of the southern border’s vulnerability.”
The terrorism threat has returned to America with war exploding throughout the Middle East. President Joe Biden’s border crisis may help bring the conflict to our shores.
