Prepare for Potential Nationwide Far-Left Protests This May Day

Americans are being cautioned about an upcoming series of far-left May Day protests that could impact cities all across the country. Some schools and workplaces are reportedly readying for potential disruptions.

About 600 activist groups, which collectively generate around $2 billion annually, are involved in planning an estimated 6,000 events for May Day. Organizers are prompting participants to skip work, classes, and shopping to support initiatives like “Workers Over Billionaires.” Major cities poised for significant participation include Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis.

Key Groups and Financial Backing

Among those spearheading these efforts are chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America, as well as the People’s Forum, Party for Socialism and Liberation, ANSWER Coalition, and Code Pink.

This network has faced scrutiny due to claims of financial connections to Neville Roy Singham, an American tech entrepreneur residing in Shanghai, alleged to promote messages aligned with the Chinese Communist Party.

Connections with Democratic Organizations

There’s rising concern about collaboration between openly socialist and communist organizations and those traditionally linked with the Democratic Party. Reports suggest that nonprofits such as Indivisible and MoveOn.org, along with the American Federation of Teachers, are supporting May Day events, with at least 13 Democratic Party chapters tied to these protests.

Wisconsin has emerged as an early focal point, where a school closure sparked political tension leading up to the May Day demonstrations.

Local Reactions

The Madison Metropolitan School District recently announced closures while activists geared up for protests. A message from the district indicated that 70% of teachers backed participation in “A Day without Immigrants” as part of the national action.

Critics like Wisconsin Moms for Liberty activist Scarlett Johnson voiced strong objections during a Fox & Friends appearance, expressing disbelief at the district’s actions.

Johnson said, “This is an anti-capitalist, anti-Trump movement using our kids as political pawns.” Her remarks reflected broader concerns over educational institutions engaging in political activism.

A Broader Network Uncovered

Fox News reporter Asra Nomani highlighted a wider network of involved organizations in Washington, pointing out materials found at a socialist center in the capital. These include symbols from various labor unions and flyers that advance several leftist agendas, such as anti-ICE messaging.

“This ecosystem of far-left organizations is set to manifest in the coming events,” she noted, emphasizing the need for awareness about foreign influence and agitation tactics infiltrating American society.

As these events near, local authorities and communities nationwide remain vigilant, anticipating possible disruptions or unrest during the demonstrations.
