Pelosi Pushes Debunked Anti-Trump ‘Bloodbath’ Hoax During Appearance on CNN

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Sunday pushed the out-of-context narrative of former President Donald Trump’s “Bloodbath” comment during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Many articles from mainstream media outlets claimed that Trump said he predicted a “bloodbath” if he loses in November.

However, a few were honest enough to include that Trump was referring to the automobile industry as he had prefaced it by saying:

“We’re gonna put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not gonna be able to sell those guys if I get elected.”

Pelosi told CNN’s Dana Bash, “He’s even predicting a bloodbath, what does that mean, he’s going to exact a bloodbath?”

Benny Johnson shared a clip of the exchange and quipped, “CNN dragged out Nancy Pelosi to amplify the ‘bloodbath’ hoax.”

Twitter owner Elon Musk took MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough to task for attempting to take part in the narrative as well.

Collin Rugg shared a post on X explaining what occurred where he said, “NEW: MSNBC host Joe Scarborough has deleted his ‘Bloodbath’ tweet after getting called out by Elon Musk.”

“The propagandist claimed Trump said he would conduct ‘another bloodbath’ if he lost the election, however, Trump was talking about the auto industry.”

“Scarborough has not yet apologized on X for his false claim.

“Thank goodness Elon Musk purchased Twitter or else these clowns would get away with this.”
