Multiple Counties Outlaw Covid Shots as ‘Ban the Jab’ Movement Spreads

Several counties in Florida have officially signed a resolution to ban Covid mRNA vaccines and label the shots “bioweapons.”

A “Ban the Jab” movement has been rapidly spreading and prohibits COVID-19 vaccinations and other mRNA vaccines.

It is gaining traction across Florida and nine counties in the state have now banned the jabs.

The initiative aims to influence Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, to halt the distribution and administration of these vaccines statewide.

Originally started by Republicans in Brevard County, the campaign escalated when the Brevard County Republican Executive Committee (BREC) overwhelmingly passed a resolution in July to ban these vaccines, labeling them a “biological and technological weapon.”

The resolution also claims that the COVID-19 virus itself is a “bioweapon.”

Support for this resolution has since been sought from Republicans at various levels, including state and federal lawmakers as well as Governor DeSantis.

To date, Republican executive committees in nine Florida counties have endorsed this resolution, which aims to not only ban the vaccines but also calls on state Attorney General Ashley Moody to confiscate all existing supplies for forensic analysis.

The resolution, termed “Ban the Jab,” was authored by psychotherapist Joseph Sansone and has garnered support from local GOP officials in multiple counties, with Franklin County becoming the ninth to adopt it.

The 83-page resolution references more than 140 pieces of evidence, which its authors claim point to findings from biomedical professionals and others who have concerns about the vaccines.

Notably, the resolution includes a statement from Francis A. Boyle, an international law professor and human rights lawyer.

Boyle, credited with penning the Biological Weapons and Anti-Terrorist Act of 1989, calls the mRNA vaccines “COVID frankenshots” and says they pose an “existentially dangerous” risk to Floridians.

Meanwhile, Governor DeSantis has already taken steps against vaccine mandates.

Last December, he convinced the Florida Supreme Court to establish a grand jury to investigate the vaccine rollout, and in May, he signed multiple bills aimed at medical freedom.

Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has also been critical of federal mandates for COVID-19 vaccinations and other measures.

In a recent tweet, Ladapo urged Americans not to comply with any reinstated mask mandates or lockdowns, labeling such policies as “terrible” and ineffective.

“What do you call re-imposing mask policies that have been proven ineffective or restarting lockdowns that are known to cause harm?” Ladapo questioned on Twitter/X.

“You don’t call it sanity. These terrible policies only work with your cooperation. How about refusing to participate…”

This guidance from Ladapo is issued at a time when educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and commercial enterprises nationwide are reinstating mask requirements.

This renewed call for mask mandates is in reaction to alarmism in the mainstream media and from some scientific experts about a purported rise in Covid subvariant cases.

Earlier in the week, Morris Brown College in Atlanta revealed its plans to reimpose a mask requirement, despite having no known Covid cases on campus.

Similarly, Lionsgate film studio in California initially announced it would re-establish mask mandates for specific offices in Santa Monica.

After receiving criticism, Lionsgate reversed the decision, stating that they had managed to control the supposed spread of Covid.

Corporate media channels have also been advocating for a return to mask mandates this week.

CNN posted an article last Wednesday suggesting, “It may be time to break out the masks against Covid, some experts say.”

A medical contributor for CBS News advised on Friday that “People 65-plus and people who are immunocompromised should strongly consider masking during flu, RSV, COVID season while in indoor public spaces. And for everyone else — it all depends on what their risk tolerance is.”

The Florida Surgeon General has been a long-standing critic of mask mandates.

In March 2022, Ladapo stated that the justifications given for advocating mask mandates are “a lie.”

“It needs to stop and people need to un-believe it,” he cautioned.

Dr. Ladapo has also stood against mandates for vaccines.

He collaborated with Governor Ron DeSantis to position Florida as the first state to advise against Covid vaccinations for healthy minors.

This recommendation followed the state’s release of a study suggesting that the vaccine could pose heightened health risks for young men.

“In Florida alone, there was a 1,700% increase in VAERS reports after the release of the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to an increase of 400% in overall vaccine administration for the same time period,” Florida reported and provided a graphic.

“The reporting of life-threatening conditions increased over 4,400%,” the alert continued.

“This is a novel increase and was not seen during the 2009 H1N1 vaccination campaign.

“There is a need for additional unbiased research to better understand the COVID-19 vaccines’ short- and long-term effects.”
