The Biden administration has vehemently denied that any voter fraud took place in the 2020 election.
However, the Biden Justice department’s recent prosecution of an alleged case of voter fraud flies in the face of that sweeping assertion.
According to KCAU, Biden’s DOJ has charged Kim Phuong Taylor, wife of former House Representative and current Woodbury County Supervisor Jeremy Taylor, with 52 counts of voter fraud in January.
The DOJ accused Kim Taylor of “generating votes” in the 2020 election, when her husband ran in the Republican primary for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, and again later that year, when he ran – and won – for county supervisor.
Kim Taylor was found guilty on all counts on Tuesday, including 26 counts of providing false information when registering and voting, 23 counts of fraudulent voting, and three counts of fraudulent registration.
Kim Phuong Taylor is facing up to 5 years in prison for each count.
“Prosecutors were able to prove that Kim Taylor illegally filled out voting materials, failed to translate warnings that her victims could not vote for her family members and forged signatures on voting affidavits,” KTIV reported.
Taylor’s Republican husband was mentioned as a “unindicted co-conspirator” in at least one court file, but he was never charged and did not testify in his wife’s trial.
However, while the Biden Department of Justice has chosen a Republican case of voter fraud to prosecute, there are more recent cases that cause one to wonder if this is a case of selective prosecution.
In Bridgeport, Connecticut, State Judge William Clark overturned the results of the Democrats’ September primary, which pitted incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim against challenger John Gomes.
Gomes led the primary on election night, but when absentee ballots were counted the next day, Ganim was declared the winner.
The video evidence showing fraud, according to the court, was “shocking.” Surveillance video showed the vice chair of the Bridgeport Democratic Committee apparently stuffing ballots into a drop box.
In Springfield, Massachusetts, just days before the general election, local election authorities accused mayoral candidate Justin Hurst of purchasing votes during in-person early voting.
Hurst, a Springfield City Council member, was running against incumbent Mayor Domenic J. Sarno. They are both Democrats.
According to an affidavit from Springfield Elections Commissioner Gladys Oyola-Lopez, once people came out with “I Voted” stickers, a man “takes out what appears to be a large bundle of cash” and delivers money to each participant.
Hurst disputed the charges, claiming that he was the victim of a “smear campaign.” Surno was nonetheless elected mayor for the sixth time.
In Lawrence, Massachusetts, NBC 10 Boston obtained video evidence that appears to show a woman stealing ballots from a mailbox, which would seem to be a federal offense. Some voters in Lawrence reported they went to vote in person but were informed they had already voted by mail.
Two cases involving stolen ballots were reported in Lawrence. There is an investigation going on at both the state and local level.
In another case, just over a year after the 2022 Laredo municipal Council election, a Texas state appeals court issued what might be the final verdict in an alleged scheme involving municipal police personnel.
According to the Laredo Morning Times, the appeals court determined that Ricardo Rangel Jr. was the genuine winner of the District 2 council seat versus Daisy Campos Rodriguez, who won the 2022 campaign by six votes.
In February, a lower court decided that 11 ballots were cast fraudulently in favor of Campos Rodriguez the previous November.
Laredo Police Department officers are said to have voted illegally. Three of them have been suspended, while one has retired.
In yet another case, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has charged Paterson Council Speaker Alex Mendez with stealing mail-in ballots in late October.
State prosecutors charged Mendez, his wife, and two campaign supporters with attempting to rig the 2020 election, according to NBC 4 New York. Hundreds of ballots were stolen, faked, or handed incorrectly, according to investigators.
Democrat New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin stated the Mendez campaign sought “to rig an election in their favor and deprive Paterson voters of having their voices heard.” Paterson is New Jersey’s third-largest city.
There you have it. Voter fraud exists. The Biden administration just confirmed it.
