Bud Light Drinker Ted Lieu Claims Donald Trump’s New Truth Post is an ‘Illegal Threat by a Criminal Defendant Against Prosecutors’

Bud Light aficionado and radical leftist Democrat U.S. House Rep. Ted Lieu recently lashed out against former President Donald Trump. This comes after a recent Truth Social post from 2024 presidential candidate Trump saying “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” See post:

While Trump’s Truth post may sound vaguely threatening in nature, it doesn’t specify exactly what he means. Coming after someone politically could mean a litany of things and does not necessarily have to mean anything illegal.

Lieu took it exactly how he wanted to take it however, to use the post to claim something much more specific was implied than actually was in our interpretation:

“In the history of the United States, the numbers of prosecutors who run away in fear after being publicly threatened by a criminal defendant is exactly zero. Illegal threats by a criminal defendant will make prosecutors work even harder.”

Again in our view, we believe Trump is referring to political retribution such as running candidates against other candidates and doing things within the realm of legality to push back against apparent political persecution. That won’t stop Democrats from assuming the worst anyway, such that they can anger their base and raise funds for their campaigns.

Time will tell how things unfold with Trump’s most recent Truth and the Democrat outrage as the former president and his allies continue to fend off attack after attack in the form of what many are beginning to call “lawfare”.

Donald Trump told Fox News’ Brett Baier recently that he does not fear going to jail.
