According to Axelrod, Biden’s decision to boast about the economy while many Americans are facing financial difficulties is a significant error.
Axelrod, who previously worked with former President Barack Obama, warned that these comments could potentially harm Biden’s prospects for a second term. In a recent interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Axelrod discussed the president’s controversial statements and highlighted the importance of addressing the current economic challenges faced by the American people.
He thinks Biden “should lead with empathy” instead of allowing his “pride” to jeopardize his reelection.
