Woman Beaten and Assaulted by Capitol Police on January 6 Sentenced to 10 Days in Jail and 90 Days of Home Detention

Victoria White, the Minnesota woman beaten by Metropolitan Police Department officers at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was sentenced to 10 days of intermittent jail time and 90 days of home detention by U.S. District Judge John D. Bates on Nov. 20.

The U.S. Department of Justice aimed for a maximum of four months in prison as part of a plea deal with Ms. White, who initially faced four charges in an indictment dated January 26, 2022.

Back in August, Ms. White admitted guilt to one charge of civil disorder and aiding and abetting, which is a felony carrying a potential sentence of up to five years in prison.

The 41-year-old Ms. White from Rochester, Minnesota, used to share a lot about her case and other January 6-related topics on X. However, her account vanished shortly after the hearing in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

According to prosecutors, Ms. White assisted a rioter in the Lower West Terrace tunnel entrance, where the man kicked at the police.

Her situation stood out because, besides facing charges related to January 6, she was also a victim of a severe beating by officers from the Metropolitan Police Department inside the Lower West Terrace tunnel shortly after 4 p.m.

Security footage from overhead and body camera recordings from the Metropolitan Police Department reveal that Ms. White suffered a minimum of 39 strikes from steel batons and fists to her head, face, and neck.

Newly revealed body camera footage depicts her getting jabbed in the ribs with a baton, pulled by the hair and pushed with a hand on her neck.

In an interview for the 2022 Epoch Times documentary The Real Story of Jan. 6, Ms. White discussed the strain that Jan. 6 has put on her family.

“People’s lies about us are causing myself and other January Sixers to endure unspeakable hell,” she said. “Justice for us, it seems almost impossible.”

Ms. White mentioned she has flashbacks that connect her January 6 beating with the years of domestic abuse she endured from her ex-husband.

“I’ve had those with my ex, where I’d be awake doing something as simple as laundry, and all of a sudden, I’m there, being choked to death and beat or punched,” she said.

“This was the feeling of all that. It was like those blows, but now in the tunnel.”

Along with losing her jacket, shoes, and cell phone in the tunnel, the video reveals that Ms. White had her jeans pulled down, exposing her backside, while being pushed back and forth between police officers.

Federal prosecutors pinpointed MPD Cmdr. Jason Bagshaw as the main attacker against Ms. White. The video indicates that several other officers, including Neil McAllister, also hit Ms. White.

Ms. White filed a lawsuit for millions of dollars against the Metropolitan Police Department and several unidentified police officers on January 5, 2022.

Back then, Ms. White’s lawyer stated that the police beating caused significant trauma to her, given that she had survived years of physical and verbal domestic abuse.

“Years of healing and progress were literally beaten out of her by the police on January 6th,” the attorney said in a statement.

“The scars and trauma related to past abuse were torn open again. A multitude of preexisting repetitive trauma injuries [were] aggravated to the point where she can never fully recover.”

Ms. White decided to drop her civil lawsuit in November 2022, citing the time needed to defend herself against federal criminal charges.

Despicable! Even now that Americans are viewing security footage that dispels the notion that most Patriots on J6 were violent insurrectionists, the inJustice department continues their made up, and preplanned charade. They continue to treat Patriots as criminals! I believe the real criminals here, wear ties and black robes!
