When asked by Megyn Kelley’s audience in Fort Worth about their preferences for president in 2028, JD Vance was greeted with a nearly unanimous thumbs up.
Glenn Beck, Mark Halperin and other prominent conservative thinkers were present as part of the ongoing “Megyn Kelly Show” tour.
The group argued that Vice President Vance was virtually unbeatable as a candidate in the GOP primary because he is free from his internal rivals. When Trump is asked the question, he replies, “Yes, JD or Marco.” Marco is always mentioned, because we all love him. Kelly asked, “Is there any realistic way Marco can beat JD?”
Halperin then conducted an informal survey to gauge the current state of the race. I’m asking you to all vote with your hands. You can vote with your eyes closed if you don’t want to do it in public. “Raise your hands if you want JD Vance as the nominee,” said he, and the Dickies Arena filled with people erupted in cheers.
Then he asked the attendees to raise their hand if they wanted someone else. Halperin said, “Okay…next to nobody, yes?” after noticing that only a few hands were raised.
There’s been no situation quite like this, in all my years of experience. Bush 41 was Reagan’s Vice President, the incumbent vice president. You can watch the event on C-SPAN on YouTube. Reagan did not endorsing him until the nomination battle was finished. He called him I’m here for my vice president to be endorsed, George Bosch. So, he mispronounced the name,” continued the veteran political expert.
Clinton made his life miserable. Obama said that he was endorsing Hillary when Biden served as vice president. We have never seen an incumbent vice-president with such full backing to accomplish all of his tasks. “Overseas travel, domestic travel, political operations, finance chairman of the Republican National Committee.”
He doesn’t seem to have any enemies that I could find…I can’t imagine anyone thinking they would be able to beat him in the primary …” @markhalperin about why JD Pritzker is not likely going to become President.

As President Trump enters his second year, Vice President Vance holds a strong lead among 2028 polls. Vance is currently leading the hypothetical field by 36.7 percent according to the RealClearPolitics polling average.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who launched an unsuccessful White House campaign in 2024 comes in at second place with only 10.3 per cent, Secretary of State Marco Rubio is just behind him with 9.3percent.
Rubio seemed to indicate that he would be supporting Vance’s presidential campaign when he spoke with Fox News in July. Well, I think J.D. Vance is a good candidate. I’m sure he will do a fantastic job.
