A strange video circulating on social media shows a person repeatedly tossing objects out of a top-floor White House window, prompting speculation online about what was going on.
Viral Footage
The video, first posted over the weekend, captured several items — possibly trash bags — being hurled to the ground from an upper-story window.
The bizarre scene quickly drew attention, with many viewers questioning whether the items were being tossed from the Lincoln Bedroom.
White House Response
A White House official clarified that the person seen in the video was a contractor performing regular maintenance while President Trump was away. It remains unclear exactly what the objects were or why they were being disposed of through the window.
The Lincoln Bedroom has been the subject of upcoming renovations under Trump. Last month, he criticized the room’s bathroom as “terribly” remodeled in Art Deco style and pledged to overhaul it.
“We’ll be doing the Lincoln bathroom, which was Art Deco,” Trump said. “We’re making it actually incredible.”
The viral video fueled speculation that the mystery objects may have been related to those renovation efforts.
Separately, Trump has announced plans to build a $200 million privately funded White House ballroom, slated for completion before the end of his term in 2029.
The 90,000-square-foot “White House State Ballroom”, to be located in the East Wing, will be able to host up to 650 people.
