You’re not going to agree with everything Senator Fetterman says in this clip from The View, but he does call the trial against President Trump in New York ‘politically motivated’ and suggests Joe Biden should pardon him.
He says this in response to questions from Joy Behar, who had to be screaming at him on the inside:

Fetterman calls out Democratic Party hypocrisy on criminal justice reform and second chances while saying Trump shouldn’t be president because he’s a convicted felon.

Fetterman is right about how we shouldn’t be weaponizing the DOJ against political enemies, but his claims that Hunter Biden’s prosecution was politically motivated are just not true. Biden’s corrupt DOJ stopped the main prosecutor from moving ahead with charges and tried to give Hunter a sweetheart deal – and that was absolutely politically motivated. But a federal judge called them out on it and killed the deal, which forced the DOJ to get serious about the case and go ahead with prosecution.
So yeah, there were some parts of it that were politically motivated, but not the singling out of Hunter like Fetterman and Bidne claims, who did actually commit crimes.
When it comes to Trump, it’s all been politically motivated to try and destroy him before the election and it all failed. Not sure Trump needs a pardon at this point but it would be a nice gesture if Biden’s going to be handing them out.
