WATCH – CNN bashes JD Vance for pushing cat memes, claims they are ‘racist’

CNN ran a segment today bashing JD Vance for pushing ‘racist’ cat memes that originated this weekend from the stories coming out of Springfield, Ohio where there are reports of Haitian illegals eating people’s cats and local duck wildlife.

They reference something JD Vance said in a tweet so let me show that to you before you watch the video:

The part CNN highlights, aside from the last tweet, is where Vance says “In the last several weeks, my office has received many inquiries from actual residents of Springfield who’ve said their neighbors’ pets or local wildlife were abducted by Haitian migrants. “

Now here’s the video:

Bash claims that Vance said “well maybe this could have been a false rumor” and then said, “duh.”

Maybe I’m nitpicking but that’s not what he said.

Vance said it’s possible “these rumors will turn out to be false.” But have they been disproven yet? Dana Bash certainly seems to believe they have with her ‘duh’ statement.

But even so, this segment is ridiculous.

The cat memes are not racist. It’s a response to people in Springfield saying that the Haitian illegals are eating cats and ducks.

And even if it is proven false, it still has nothing to do with race and everything to do with a purported culture.

I told you they would try and make up for that segment last night calling out Kamala for her radical views on illegals getting taxpayer-funded gender surgeries.

Cats aren’t a “race”, they’re a species!
