WATCH: 100-Year-Old WW2 Vet Says Britain Has Gotten Worse In Heartbreaking Clip

Alec Penstone is a veteran of the Royal Navy who served in World War II. His heartbreaking interview, in which he bemoaned the decline in his country, and asked if the sacrifices were worth it, has gone viral.

Penstone was involved in many battles during World War II. He served on the HMS Campania during the D-Day Landings. He appeared on “Good Morning Britain”, ahead of Remembrance Day, which will be held this Sunday.

When asked about his feelings on Remembrance Day, he told the host’s tearfully, “My message is… I can see rows and rows white stones in my mind, all of the hundreds of friends and everyone else who gave their life – for what?” The country today… I’m so sorry. The sacrifice was not worth the results that we have now.

The host asked, “What exactly do you mean?”

We fought to protect our freedom. Penstone responded, “It’s worse now than it was when I fought to get it.” Penstone’s co-host tried to console the veteran.

She said, “I am so sorry that you are feeling that way, but I also want to let you know that the entire generation that has come after, as well as me and my kids, have been so appreciative of your courage.” It’s now our duty to turn this country into the one you fought for.

Penstone thanked both hosts and reacted with tears, thanking them for the comments.

Penstone’s remarks went viral, not just in Britain, but throughout the Western world. Many people agreed with him, due to the widespread demographic changes caused by third-world immigration and declining living standards, as well as the increase of authoritarian laws against “hate speech”, which often apply only to native Europeans.

The comments of Penstone and those who asked the questions were summed up by the right-wing British commentator : “Nothing better sums modern Britain than a WW2 vet lamenting the state of our country, while being patronised and lectured to by a wife who is married to an architect in Blair’s Government and a male who stated yesterday that he wanted Sharia law.”

This man fought to defend his country. He looks at the world today and realizes it is being overthrown by an Islamic third-world invasion. Matt Walsh, a Daily Wire contributing editor said: “Men like him – white men who helped build his country – are being demonized as scapegoats.” While Arab migrants are raped and killed in the street, the government is focusing its efforts on arresting those who insult trannies online. “A travesty on historic proportions.

Another American commented, “Poor man doesn’t realize that his worst enemies sit right in front him.”

Andrew Kolvet, of Turning Point USA, wrote in X that “the generations who benefited from his sacrifice and many other like him have so squandered their inheritance that he does not believe it is worth it.” This is the punch in the stomach the West needs. “We either remember who we are or fall into the dust of History.”
