A group of unruly individuals instilled fear in conservative students present at a Turning Point USA gathering with Kyle Rittenhouse at the University of Memphis.
The individuals aggressively pursued conservative students while hurling vulgarities and threats of violence.
Some students, who were part of a campus Bible study, were also caught in the commotion. Witnesses claim that the group directly threatened TPUSA leadership.
Extremist activists celebrated the disorder.
No arrests have been reported.
The TPUSA members sought safety in a nearby secure location.
The Tennessee state legislature should promptly investigate why the university failed to provide adequate security and look into allegations of administrative interference with the event.
