Vice President JD Vance delivered a blunt message to critics targeting his wife, Usha, telling the outlet UnHerd that anyone taking shots at her “can eat s—.”
“Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat s—. That’s my official policy as vice president of the United States,” Vance said, according to the interview transcript.
Fuentes is a fringe podcaster known for incendiary rhetoric and antisemitic views. Psaki, a former Biden White House press secretary, now hosts a show on MS NOW.
Fox News Digital reached out to Fuentes on X and contacted MS NOW seeking comment from Psaki.
Fuentes has repeatedly targeted Usha Vance online. In a November 2024 post, he mocked her with the phrase “Poo-sha Vance” and has also used an ethnic slur in reference to her. Earlier this year, he wrote that conservatives should “keep the same energy” when criticizing public figures over their backgrounds, mentioning both Vivek Ramaswamy and Usha Vance.
Usha Vance and Ramaswamy were both born in the United States. New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, whom Fuentes also referenced, was born in Uganda and later became a naturalized U.S. citizen.
UnHerd asked Vance directly whether he disavows Fuentes.
“My attitude towards anybody, again, who is calling for judging people based on their ethnic heritage, whether they’re Jewish or white or anything else, it’s disgusting,” Vance said. “We shouldn’t be doing it.”
Vance added that Fuentes’ actual influence is exaggerated.
🚨 JUST IN: JD Vance says Nick Fuentes can “eat sh*t” after Fuentes attacked Vance’s wife, Usha
“Let me be clear. Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat sh*t. That’s my official policy as vice president of the United States,” Vance… pic.twitter.com/aSeZwjrpWF

“That said, I think that Nick Fuentes, his influence within Donald Trump’s administration, and within a whole host of institutions on the Right, is vastly overstated and frankly, it’s overstated by people who want to avoid having a foreign-policy conversation about America’s relationship with Israel,” he said.
Jen Psaki also drew criticism after comments she made about the second lady during a podcast appearance. She speculated about Usha Vance’s private life, saying she wondered what was going through her mind and adding, “Are you OK? Please … blink four times … come over here … we’ll save you.”
Vance has previously dismissed such remarks as out of bounds and has emphasized that attacks on his wife are off-limits, regardless of the source.
