Twin Miracle Babies Found by Israeli Forces After Hamas Massacred Parents

Hamas terrorists on Saturday attacked an Israeli kibbutz located just miles from the Gaza Strip, resulting in a horrific massacre.

Amid what officials termed a “haunting” scene, they also discovered that twin infants less than a year old had remarkably survived because their young parents hid them just prior to the couple being murdered by the terrorists.

The mass murder took place in the Kfar Aza kibbutz, a community located near the Gaza frontier. Previous Israeli officials stated that when the Israel Defense Forces arrived at the kibbutz, “blood was spread throughout the homes.”

“It’s not a war or a battlefield. It’s a massacre,” said Maj. Gen. Itai Veruv of the IDF.

Israel’s embassy in France shared the story on X.

“Itaï and Hadar Berdichevsky were 30 years old, and had two children,” the embassy wrote. “They hid their 10-month-old twins in a shelter while terrorists forced entry to their home in Kfar Gaza. They fought until the last moment, before being massacred by Hamas terrorists.”

“Their babies were left alone for 14 hours before emergency services arrived on the scene,” the post continued. “All our thoughts are with the loved ones of this broken family. Israel will honor their memory and do what is necessary to neutralize the terrorist threat and protect its citizens.”

Rotem Segev, the deputy Israeli ambassador in Cyprus, also posted about the couple, stating that they were “brutally murdered after fighting fiercely with terrorists.”

“Imagine the horror,” Segev tweeted. “Two terrified parents who tried with all their might to protect their children, who are now orphans.”

IDF officials reported on Thursday that more than 1,200 Israelis have been murdered since Hamas launched its first attack on Saturday. More than 3,000 individuals have been wounded. More than 1,200 people, including hundreds of children, have been killed in Israel’s counterattacks in Gaza, where nearly half of the population is comprised of minors under the age of 14.
