Trump’s Fiery Remarks Target Fox News Correspondent and Her Congressman Partner

Former President Donald Trump unleashed his frustrations on Fox News senior correspondent Jacqui Heinrich, accusing her of failing to challenge Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) during a broadcast.

This outburst followed Heinrich’s interview with Khanna on The Sunday Briefing, where he detailed grievances about rising prices, U.S. involvement in the conflict in Iran, and the Epstein files.

Khanna expressed his concerns, stating, “Gas prices are up, food prices are up… people don’t approve of our military actions in Iran, nor the lack of transparency regarding the Epstein files.”

He further voiced alarm over the presence of Chinese steel at a local port, advocating for stricter measures against China.

“The administration ought to explicitly discourage Chinese manufacturing in the U.S. This means supporting American steel and preventing unfair Chinese competition,” Khanna emphasized.

In a series of Truth Social posts, Trump argued that Heinrich’s failure to contest Khanna’s claims undermined Fox’s overall messaging.

“You can devote your day to Fox News, but when you hear sleazy figures like Congressman Khanna spreading lies without any rebuttal, the entire message evaporates,” he asserted.

Trump broadened his criticism to include other guests appearing on Fox, suggesting their presence diminishes the network’s credibility.

“Why does Fox host characters like Ro Khanna, or lesser figures like Bill Maher?” Trump questioned, stating that it undermines conservative perspectives.

The former president believes the inclusion of Democratic guests, paired with inadequate fact-checking, alienates his base.

“Regardless of how ‘Fair and Balanced’ Fox tries to be, it’s ultimately tarnished by professional deceivers and corrupt politicians,” he stated. “This is why true conservatives are increasingly frustrated with the network.”

Trump previously called for stricter standards on guest appearances, alleging, “Khanna shouldn’t be allowed on without a strong anchor willing to counter his falsehoods.”

He did not shy away from involving Heinrich’s fiancé, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.), labeling him as someone who often votes against Trump.

Khanna responded, defending his appearances on Fox as part of a strategy to connect with a broader electorate, stating, “My aim is to discuss a constructive economic agenda and reach out to all voters, including Trump supporters.”

Despite Trump’s escalating tensions with Fox, the network remains a substantial platform within Republican circles. Heinrich has yet to comment on Trump’s latest statements.
