Trump urges GOP to release Epstein files

Donald Trump has called on House Republicans not to allow Democrats to distract them from their agenda. He calls this a political distraction involving the Jeffrey Epstein documents. Trump stated in a new Truth Social posting that the GOP must vote for the release of the files and get past the controversy he called an “engineered controversy” designed to undermine Republican momentum.

Trump began his statement with a reiteration of comments he had made days before to reporters aboard Air Force One. He wrote: “As i said on Friday evening aboard Air Force One, to the Fake Media, House Republicans must vote to release the Epstein Files, as we have nothing hidden, and now is the time to get past this Democrat hoax, perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics to distract from the Great Success achieved by the Republican Party including the recent victory over the Democrat ‘Shutdown’

Trump said that the Department of Justice had already released extensive information and was continuing to investigate those individuals listed. The Department of Justice is investigating various Democrat operatives including Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman and Larry Summers. He wrote that he didn’t care about their Epstein connection, or what the House Oversight Committee could legally get.

Trump encouraged Republicans to focus on the issues that matter most to voters and not on scandals, which he said Democrats use as a political weapon.

He added: “All that I care about is for Republicans to get back on track, and this is in the economy, affordability (where we’re winning big! He continued: “All I care about is that Republicans get BACK ON POINT, which is the Economy, ‘Affordability’ (where we are winning BIG! The rebuilding of the Military, security at our border, deporting criminal illegal aliens, stopping transgender, and much more.

Trump denied that Democrats had damaging information. He argued that, if this were the case, the Democrats would have used it to their advantage before the elections. No one cared for Jeffrey Epstein while he lived and, if they had any damaging information, the Democrats would have made it public before their Landslide Election Victory.

The President also warned Republicans who he believed were unintentionally advancing Democrat goals: “Some members of the Republican Party have been ‘used’, and we cannot let this happen.”

Trump suggested that instead of focusing on distractions, the GOP should focus its attention on what it calls historic achievements under GOP leadership. Let’s talk about Republican Party Record Setting Achievements and avoid falling into Epstein’s ‘TRAP’, which actually is a curse against the Democrats. “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGENDA!”

Trump’s message is clear: he wants to see the Epstein documents released, the Epstein issue declared settled and the focus shifted back to what voters care about in 2026.
