Trump Sends Shock NATO Warning to Americans

President Donald Trump has alleged that European NATO allies are exploiting American taxpayers who are funding the alliance.

In a discussion with Nigel Farage, a British populist leader, Trump asserted that European nations in NATO are relying on the financial support of the United States while neglecting their own financial responsibilities.

Trump emphasized that the United States contributes a disproportionate amount of funding to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, compared to European nations that face the threat of potential Russian aggression.

The international corporate media and globalist politicians have recently expressed their displeasure with Trump’s statements.

In the previous month, the 45th president hinted that he might not uphold Article 5 of the NATO treaty upon his return to the White House.

Article 5 mandates that all signatories must come to the defense of any member nation that comes under attack.

During a campaign event in South Carolina, Trump shared an anecdote about a conversation he had with an unnamed European leader.

He informed the leader that he would not deploy American soldiers to sacrifice their lives on behalf of a nation that fails to fulfill its NATO spending obligations.

He joked that he would even let Russia do “whatever the hell they want.”

Although the comments were comprehended as a warning by those within NATO, Democrats and their supporters in the corporate media perceived them as an assault on the NATO alliance.

As reported, Democrats, with the support of the media, distorted the statement by alleging that Trump urged Russia to initiate an attack on NATO allies.

Trump told Farage:

“What I’m saying is a form of negotiation.

“Why should we guard these countries that have a lot of money [while] the United States was paying for most of NATO?

“When I went there, I had already had it out with them [in the past].

“They then stopped paying again. But now they’re paying because of those comments that you saw two, three weeks ago [from me].

“I don’t know if you know, but a lot of money’s come in since those comments were made.”

Trump said that “billions of dollars came flowing in after he delivered the message:

“We’re not going to defend you if you’re not paying your bills.”

“NATO became strong because of me. Now NATO has to treat the US fairly because if it wasn’t for the United States, NATO wouldn’t even exist.

“They took advantage of us like most countries do,” he explained.
