Trump Presses Bondi to Prosecute His Enemies Including Letitia James, Schiff

President Donald Trump openly pressed Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute his political opponents in a lengthy Truth Social post.

He complained that top Democrats and former officials are “guilty as hell” but face no consequences.

Trump’s Post

Trump named former FBI Director James Comey, Rep. Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

He said he has seen “over 30 statements and posts” demanding action.

“Same old story as last time, all talk, no action,” Trump wrote.

He accused opponents of persecuting him through impeachments and indictments.

“They impeached me twice, indicted me five times — over nothing,” he fumed.

He said justice must be served quickly to protect his administration’s credibility.

He warned that delays are “killing our reputation and credibility.”

Criticism of Siebert

Trump also vented over Erik Siebert, the former U.S. attorney nominee in Virginia.

Siebert resigned Friday, saying he faced pressure over the Letitia James probe.

Trump insisted he fired Siebert, calling him a “Woke RINO.”

He said Siebert was supported by Democrats and “would never do his job.”

Trump claimed there is a “great case” against James despite Siebert’s doubts.

He accused Siebert of lying to the media about his resignation.

Trump has now nominated his former lawyer, Lindsey Halligan, to the post.

Praise for Bondi

Despite his complaints, Trump praised Bondi hours later.

He called her “very careful, very smart, loves our Country.”

He said she is doing a “GREAT job as Attorney General.”

But he insisted she needs a tougher prosecutor in Virginia.

“What we don’t need is a Democrat-endorsed Republican,” Trump said.

He clarified to reporters that he is not angry with Bondi.

He said he simply wants investigations accelerated.

Schumer’s Response

Sen. Chuck Schumer blasted Trump’s Truth Social post.

He said it posed a “real threat to democracy.”

Schumer warned Trump’s attitude is “the path to dictatorship.”

Democrats accused Trump of undermining judicial independence.

Schumer said pressuring prosecutors threatens the rule of law.

He urged colleagues to push back against political interference.

The statement sparked a new wave of partisan backlash.

Trump’s Clarification

Reporters pressed Trump about his comments on Bondi.

He insisted he was not personally irked with her.

“I just want people to act,” he said.

Trump emphasized urgency in wrapping up probes into Schiff, James, and Comey.

“If they’re not guilty, that’s fine,” he told reporters.

“But if they are guilty, they should be charged — and now,” he added.
