President Donald Trump unloaded on Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas, comparing her to the “AOC Plus Three” group of far-left lawmakers and calling her “slightly dumber” than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
In a Truth Social post Sunday, Trump wrote: “‘Congresswoman’ Jasmine Crockett is a Low (Very!!!) I.Q. Individual, much in the mold of the AOC Plus Three Gang of Country Destroying Morons – Only slightly dumber.”
He suggested Crockett and other progressive Democrats should be required to take a cognitive exam, referencing one he recently took at a military hospital in Washington, D.C. “Radical Left Lunatics would all fail this test in a spectacular show of stupidity and incompetence. TAKE THE TEST!!!” he added.
“Future of the Party?”
Trump has criticized Crockett before. In a May interview on Meet the Press, he said her rise within the Democratic Party was evidence of the party’s decline.“They have a new person named Crockett. I watched her speak the other day — definitely a low-IQ person — and they said she’s the future of the party. I said, ‘You have to be kidding.’”
In April, he mocked the idea of Crockett serving as a party leader, calling it “demeaning to our country.”
Crockett’s Attacks on Trump
Crockett has repeatedly targeted Trump in congressional hearings and public appearances. During her 2024 Democratic National Convention speech in support of Kamala Harris, she called Trump a “career criminal.”
A New York Post report, citing a former Democratic aide, claimed Crockett uses nearly every hearing to attack Trump, even when the topic has nothing to do with him.“We can be talking about the budget or appropriations — and she brings it back to Trump every time,” the aide said, accusing her of creating disruptions for MSNBC-ready soundbites.
Clashes in Texas Politics
Crockett has also been active in attacking Texas Republicans, recently blasting a redistricting plan she claims would weaken minority voting power.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott brushed off her comments, saying: “It would not be a day that ends in the letter Y if Jasmine Crockett didn’t say something racist.”
