Darrell “The Gambler” Sheets, a beloved figure from “Storage Wars,” has passed away at the age of 67, as reported by TMZ.
Authorities in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, revealed that Sheets seemingly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Police responded to a call about an unresponsive individual at his residence shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday, where he was declared dead at the scene. His body was subsequently taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Sheets became a prominent personality on A&E’s “Storage Wars,” a show where participants bid on abandoned storage units. After his time on the program, he moved to Lake Havasu and opened an antique shop named Havasu Show Me Your Junk, according to TMZ.

In recent years, Sheets battled significant health issues, including a heart attack in March 2019 that resulted in hospitalization and surgery.
A spokesperson for A&E shared a heartfelt statement regarding Sheets’ passing.

“We are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our Storage Wars family, Darrell ‘The Gambler’ Sheets. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” they expressed.
Over the course of his time on the show, Sheets appeared in 163 episodes and made guest appearances on various other television programs, including both late-night and daytime shows.
