Clarke’s entire NBA journey took place in Memphis, as he was selected 21st overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, only to be traded to the Grizzlies on the same night. He quickly won over fans with his dynamic playing style, daring dunks, and commendable defense.
A Rising Star Brought Low by Injuries
He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in his debut season (2019-20) and played a significant role in elevating the Grizzlies as a promising young team.
