The ACLU of Florida this morning tried to smear Florida Governor DeSantis and his administration over their investigation into the petition signatures of the pro-abortion Amendment 4 that will be on the ballot this November.
Here’s what they wrote:
“The DeSantis administration is not investigating voter fraud; it’s investigating people who support reproductive rights, and that should be a violation of the First Amendment.”https://t.co/0OVJxq6Xfm

But the press secretary for Governor DeSantis quickly debunked this by showing the proof that there have been complaints against these petitioners by people who never signed the petitions:
Well, this is easily debunked.
Here are just a few examples of ongoing investigations into voter fraud related to Amendment 4: https://t.co/64QaTrTNEJ pic.twitter.com/V38wJ5uWOL

In three of the complaints, people said their signatures were forged. In another complaint, the person who signed the petition was deceased.
Does this warrant investigation? Absolutely. And I hope they find enough fraud to get that horrible amendment removed from the ballot this year.
