Texas University Student Arrested, Expelled for Mocking Charlie Kirk Assassination

A Texas Tech University student was arrested Friday after being caught on video mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination during a campus vigil.

The student, identified as 18-year-old Camryn Giselle Booker, was filmed chanting vile slogans and confronting mourners in Lubbock.

The Incident

Booker was recorded jumping and dancing while shouting: “F*** y’all homie dead, he got shot in the head.”

Videos showed her confronting a man in a MAGA hat, repeatedly shoving her phone in his face.

When told to calm down, she accused bystanders of racism.

Witnesses said Booker hurled slurs and accused mourners of being “fascists.”

Attendees described her shouting at people holding candles and American flags.

The situation escalated when she allegedly shoved several people, including a veteran and a young mother.

Arrest and Expelled From School

Booker was arrested after a physical altercation spread into the street.

She was charged with battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and cited for assault.

She was released the next day on a $200 bond, officials confirmed.

Reports circulated that Booker was expelled from Texas Tech.

The university later confirmed she is “no longer enrolled.”

“Any behavior that denigrates victims of violence is reprehensible,” the school said.

Governor Abbott Responds

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott posted footage of Booker’s arrest on X.

“This is what happened to the person who was mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Texas Tech,” he wrote.

“FAFO,” he added, using the acronym for “F*** around and find out.”

Hundreds of users condemned Booker’s behavior as hateful and disgraceful.

Conservatives said her actions symbolized the left’s intolerance of opposing views.

Clips of the incident quickly went viral.

A Nation Divided

Kirk’s assassination has sparked both grief and hostility nationwide.

While millions mourned his death, others celebrated it online and on campuses.

Hundreds of people have lost jobs or been suspended over posts mocking his murder.
