Southwest Airlines has to ABORT landing at last second to avoid crash

Southwest Airlines had to abort a landing in Chicago this morning at the very last second to avoid crashing into a smaller passenger jet crossing the runway.

The pilot saved everyone on the flight thanks to his quick thinking:

Now this might be said to be an air traffic control issue, and you can be sure that the media will be blaming President Trump and Secretary Duffy for this near-collision.

Always check both ends of the runway for an aircraft in short final even after being cleared to taxi across an active runway. This is basic procedure learned before your first solo flight.
