‘Snow White’ Star Apologizes After Backlash for Attacking Trump Voters

“Snow White” actress Rachel Zegler apologized after facing a backlash for attacking Trump voters following the reelection of President-elect Donald Trump.

“Hi everyone, I would like to sincerely apologize for the election post I shared on my Instagram last week,” the 23-year-old actress wrote on Thursday on her Instagram Story, amid calls to boycott the upcoming Disney film, the New York Post reported.

“I let my emotions get the best of me,” she added. “Hatred and anger have caused us to move further and further away from peace and understanding, and I am sorry I contributed to the negative discourse.”

“This week has been emotional for so many of us but I firmly believe that everyone has the right to their opinion, even when it differs from my own,” Zegler continued.

“I am committed to contributing positively toward a better tomorrow.”

In a series of posts that were screenshotted from her Instagram Stories, Zegler wrote, “may Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace,” calling it “absolutely terrifying the number of people who stand behind” Trump.

“I shouldn’t be this shocked, but I am,” she added. “I am heartbroken for my friends who awoke fear this morning … this loss should not have been by so many votes.”

“I echo Ethel Cain’s statement more than anything, may Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace,” the actress continued. “It is a foolish subscription to a false sense of security, of masculinity, of intelligence, of patriotism, and of humanity. There is no help, no counsel in any of them.”

She then called on people to get off Elon Musk’s app X because he “helped get that man [Trump] elected and you’re giving him business.” Zelger closed out her rant by calling on her followers to focus now on their Democrat Governors and then wrote, “F*** Donald Trump.”

Zegler, a vocal left-wing activist, made headlines last year when she faced a backlash over her feminist complaints about the 1937 animated film “Snow White” following news about her taking on the lead role in the remake of the classic Disney film.

Months later in an interview for Variety with fellow Disney actress Halle Bailey, Zegler appeared to sing a different tune when she gushed over the original “Snow White” as “a monumental moment in film history,” and said she “loves everything the Disney company has put out” since its inception.

Zegler previously slammed the original story, describing the prince as a “stalker” and made it clear the live-action story she was part of would have nothing in common with the “weird” original 1937 love story.

Following Zegler’s remarks bashing the original film, The Daily Wire’s kids entertainment company Bentkey announced it would make a live-action film titled “Snow White and the Evil Queen,” starring YouTube sensation Brett Cooper.

When the vast majority of people voted for Trump, did it even occur to her that she might be out to lunch and likely brainwashed? I hope no Republican or Conservative spends a penny on her shows.. 😉
