Senate Confirms Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary — Here Are the 3 Republicans Who Voted ‘No’

The Senate on Friday night will vote on whether to confirm President Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth after Senators voted on Thursday 51-49 to invoke cloture and break the filibuster.

Two toxic RINO Senators, Lisa Murkowski (AK) and Susan Collins (ME) voted against advancing Hegseth’s nomination to a final floor vote.

On Wednesday, Fox News’ Chad Pergram reported that GOP Senators Murkowski, Collins and Mitch McConnell may all vote against Hegseth in the final floor vote.

However, on Friday evening, The Wall Street Journal reported that Senator Thom Tillis (NC) who previously said he would vote ‘yes’ on confirming Hegseth, was still undecided. A ‘no’ vote from Tillis could sink Hegseth’s nomination if McConnell, Murkowski and Collins all vote no.

Hegseth can only afford to lose the support of three Senators. If three Senators defect, Vice President JD Vance would have to come in and be the tiebreaker vote.

Vice President Vance did not show up to the Capitol on Friday evening after attending the annual March for Life because Hegseth’s vote is supposedly locked in.

Hegseth arrived to the Capitol on Friday evening ahead of the confirmation vote.

The final vote to confirm Hegseth is set to begin after 9 pm ET.

Update:

As expected, RINO Senators Collins and Murkowski voted “no.”

Senator Tillis voted YES for Hegseth!

McConnell voted “no” against Hegseth, teeing up a possible tiebreaker vote by Vice President JD Vance.

Vice President JD Vance is on his way to cast the tie-breaking vote to confirm Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary.

Vance arrived at the Capitol at 9:45 pm ET to cast the tie-breaking vote.

As usual the Alaskan traitor, the Maine traitor, and the undeclared chinese agent mc connell want to derail PRESIDENT TRUMP. Those three have been a thorn in the best president this country has ever had. They should be booted out of the Conservatives. Those LIARS are nothing more than DEMON RATS. Conservatives can be DEMON RATS, but DEMON RATS will never turncoat. Despicable three. DEMON RATS

McConnell is the poster boy of the DC Swamp! He must go at first opportunity.
Senators Collins and Murkowski are always a “given!” We know they’ll vote against the majority every time! Only Maine and Alaska can fix it.
