Search Warrant Reveals What Feds Seized at John Bolton’s Home

Court documents unsealed Thursday revealed what FBI agents confiscated during their raid on the Maryland home of former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton earlier this month.

Agents searched Bolton’s Bethesda residence over allegations he sent “highly sensitive” classified materials to family members using a private, unsecured email server while serving in the Trump White House.

Seized Items

According to the paperwork, the FBI collected:

  • Two iPhones.

  • A white binder labeled “statements and reflections to allied strikes.”

  • Typed documents in folders marked “Trump I–IV.”

  • Four boxes of printed daily activity logs.

  • Three Dell computers with cables.

  • Three hard drives and multiple USB devices

Ongoing Investigation

Investigators reportedly reopened a dormant probe into Bolton’s handling of classified materials in 2020, following allegations he used secret information for his book The Room Where It Happened.

The New York Times previously reported that Bolton is under investigation for potential Espionage Act violations.

Background

Bolton was dismissed by President Trump in September 2019.

He has not been arrested or formally charged at this time.
