The revelations surrounding Daniel J. Sullivan, a retired teacher from Alaska, have taken a surprising turn. His son, Noah Casey Sullivan, is a registered Democrat and currently works as a field representative for a Democratic congresswoman from Washington.
The elder Sullivan shares a name with incumbent Republican Senator Dan Sullivan, which has led to confusion amid allegations of deceptive election practices in Alaska’s critical U.S. Senate race. Investigations by state and federal agencies are ongoing following a controversial report by the New York Times that suggested coordinated efforts with Democratic nominee Mary Peltola’s campaign aimed at misleading voters.
Noah Sullivan’s Political Connections
As reported by The Post Millennial, Noah Casey Sullivan not only identifies as a Democrat but also engages with constituents as a field representative for U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. His role is officially noted in congressional salary records for 2025 and 2026.
Additionally, the Anchorage Daily News highlighted that Noah has previously participated in campaigns for various Democratic candidates in Alaska and elsewhere. Daniel J. Sullivan noted that he raised his son “to be an independent young man” and encourages differing viewpoints.
Investigations Ignite Controversy
In tandem with these developments, investigations prompted by a report from the New York Times revealed a coordinated effort to recruit candidates such as another Dan Sullivan for the election. Allegedly, operatives connected to Peltola’s campaign were involved in this strategy, termed a “ballot composition project.”
Democratic operative Jerid Kurtz, who used a pseudonym during outreach, reportedly found the Petersburg teacher as part of this effort. Moreover, Daniel J. Sullivan’s expressed views against Trump, alongside indications that he was open to running if it supported Peltola, adds another layer to the controversy.
Shortly before the Times’ shocking report, Daniel J. Sullivan left Petersburg under unclear circumstances, sparking further speculation about his motivations.
