Report: Illegal Immigrant Encounters at the Southern Border Top 300,000 in December, Record High

It was reported today that encounters with illegal immigrants at the southern border have topped over 300,000 in December.

The more than 302,000 encounters amount to a record high, according to Fox News’ Griff Jenkins who released the report.

In a post on X, Jenkins announced, “BREAKING: CBP sources exclusively tell FOX… Since Dec 1st, there were more than 302,000 migrant encounters – the highest monthly total ever recorded.”

“Since Oct 1st, there were more than 785,000 encounters – the highest first quarter on record @FoxNews,” Jenkins reported.

Republicans in Congress have been critical of Joe Biden for taking a New Year’s vacation while the southern border is under assault.

Ashley St. Clair shared a picture on X of the crowd at a University of Michigan football game and noted, “For reference, this is what 100,000 people visualized looks like.”

“We have had three times this cross our southern border in December alone,” St. Clair emphasized.

Last week, New York City Mayor Eric Adams publicly criticized Biden for not meeting with him in 2023 as his city is being overrun by illegal immigrants that have been sent north by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
