It’s being reported by Bloomberg that President Trump wants an apology from Ukraine’s President Zelensky after what happened in the Oval Office yesterday.
President Trump hasn’t said this publicly, but according to the report he’s made it very clear privately:
“The Trump administration has privately made clear it wants a public apology from Zelenskiy to mend relations, one European official said.”

I think that’s very reasonable of Trump and it’s likely the one thing Zelenskyy doesn’t want to do. He was unapologetic last night on Fox News, suggesting he did nothing wrong.
But if he does give Trump the apology, it will signify that he really does want to mend fences and see an end to the war.
