It is being reported by NBC News that President Trump is not happy about deportation numbers, wanting them to be much higher than they are at this point.
A source told NBC News that it is “driving him nuts that they’re not deporting more people.”
NBC is reporting that ICE detention facilities are already at 109% and they are beginning to use federal prisons to hold illegals set for deportation:
On the flip side, NBC News is reporting that illegal crossings at the border have gone from 1,500 per day under Biden to just a trickle under President Trump, noting they didn’t see one illegal crossing in five hours when they were embedded with the border patrol.
It’s honestly just going to take time to ramp up to the numbers President Trump wants. It would be higher if sanctuary cities weren’t preventing ICE from using local facilities to detail illegals.
But to be honest, I’m happy that Trump is angry about this because he is absolutely on the right side of this issue. He will get those numbers higher, of that you can be sure.
