On Truth Social today, President Trump addressed the comments made by Laura Loomer that the press has suddenly become interested in since MTG called her out the other night.
The offending tweet is this one from Loomer, which X has limited:
Trump didn’t address her comments with specificty, but simply said he disagreed with them. But that was as far as he went, being unwilling to completely throw her under the bus because she is a longtime supporter:
Laura Loomer doesn’t work for the Campaign. She’s a private citizen and longtime supporter. I disagree with the statements she made but, like the many millions of people who support me, she is tired of watching the Radical Left Marxists and Fascists violently attack and smear me, even to the point of doing anything to stop their Political Opponent, ME! I am now in California, which Democrats like Comrade Kamala Harris and Governor Gavin Newscum have completely DESTROYED. I will turn it all around and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! -DJT
While I really don’t like Loomer, I can respect Trump for not completely throwing her under the bus. And at least he’s being consistent. We’ve always said he loved loyalty and he’s proving it with this post.
What I find utterly detestable is how the press was asking Trump about this today and earlier this week, the White House. This is the same press that has ignored scandal after scandal with Biden but they suddenly want to ask about something as lame as this? They are nothing but partisan hacks working for the Democrat party.
