Police Release New Photos of Charlie Kirk’s Assassin

Utah authorities have released new photos of the man suspected in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The images were made public late Thursday by the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday while addressing hundreds at Utah Valley University, an event hosted by Turning Point USA, the organization he founded.

The shooting was described by Utah Gov. Spencer Cox as a “political assassination.”

New Evidence Released

Officials say the manhunt for the shooter is ongoing.

The four newly released photos show a man described as the prime person of interest in the case.

“We’re releasing additional photos of the person of interest in connection with the murder of Charlie Kirk,” Utah Public Safety wrote in a public notice.

The agency also urged the public to provide any information through its online tip form.

Earlier on Thursday, the FBI released its own set of photos of the suspect.

The bureau asked for nationwide assistance in identifying the man seen at the Utah campus.

“We are seeking the public’s help in identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” the FBI stated.

Timeline of Movements

At a Thursday morning press briefing, law enforcement outlined how the suspect moved before and after the attack.

Authorities tracked him from his arrival at 11:52 a.m., through a stairwell to the roof, and then fleeing the scene after the shots were fired.

Evidence gathered includes a rifle found in a wooded area, a palm print, forearm prints, and a footwear impression.

TMZ later released security camera footage showing the alleged assassin on his way to the campus.

The man can be seen hobbling, as though concealing a rifle in his pants leg.

The video circulated widely on social media and has become a key piece of evidence in the investigation.

Ongoing Search

Police and federal agents continue to pursue leads as the nationwide manhunt intensifies.

Officials stress that the public’s help is critical in identifying and locating the suspect.

The investigation remains active, with authorities warning the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
