Pennsylvania elects its first transgender mayor

Downingtown in Pennsylvania, made history on Election Day when a man dressed up as a female and was elected. This is the first time this has happened both within the city and throughout Pennsylvania.

The Democrat Mayor-elect Erica Deuso said, “I’m overwhelmed by the support.” ABC 6 Philadelphia reports that the transgender Mayor received phone calls “all day” Wednesday congratulating his historic victory.

He said that while he was honored to be the first transgender Mayor of the Commonwealth, his gender identity did not play a part in the election.

He said that he approached his life like a neighbor, describing how he connects with residents of Downingtown. I want to also be someone who is a good role model. “I may be first but I won’t be last,” said the man.

Deuso is a Vermont native with a business and scientific background. He has run for office only once before. It didn’t really matter what my background or identity was. “What matters most is that they will be able to count on me as a neighbor,” said he.

“I have received more questions regarding our Christmas Parade of good neighbors than about my gender.”

ABC Philadelphia reported that Deuso is one of the more than 170 national candidates who have been endorsed and elected by the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund. Daniel Hernandez, LGBTQ+ Victory Fund’s VP for Political Programming, said that more and more candidates are being elected not because of their transgender status, but rather because they have the qualifications to hold those positions.

Hernandez described Deuso’s victory as a significant win, given the “anti-transgender discourse” that has been gaining ground.

He said that “the year-long attacks on the LGBT and trans communities are having the opposite effect.”

Last year, Delaware elected the first transgender congressman when Rep. Sarah McBride was elected. McBride is credited for influencing former president Biden’s political and personal evolution in relation to transgender issues. This was demonstrated by the fact that he wrote the foreword of McBride’s book, published in 2018.

There are no transgender mayors because there are no transgenders – just unfortunate, confused individuals who may or may not have been the subjects of medical malpractice such as hormonal manipulation or in extreme cases, actual genital mutilation. But regardless, their DNA says that whichever sex they WERE, they still ARE.

Not too long ago, such a person would be diagnosed as having a mental disorder.

This guy is an overweight unattractive male, but as a crossdresser, the prognosis is much worse. How about the people of Downingtown vote to make this guy top dog in the local psychiatric facility. Or maybe the people who voted for this poor disturbed individual are the ones who need their heads read.
