Pediatrician Fired After Vile Post Claiming Texas Flood Victims ‘Got What They Voted For’

A Texas pediatrician has been fired after posting a vile message on Facebook that mocked the dozens of victims — including children — killed in the Texas floods, implying they deserved it for supporting President Trump.

The now-deleted post, made by Dr. Christina B. Propst under the alias “Chris Tina”, said:

“May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry.Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for. Bless their hearts.”

Post Goes Viral, Outrage Spreads

The post quickly went viral after being exposed by Libs of TikTok, sparking outrage across the country. Many questioned how someone with such contempt for families could be trusted to care for children.

“Please tell us this person is not allowed anywhere near patients in Texas?” one commenter wrote.

“This is the sort of pediatric clinician employed at @BlueFishMD in Houston. The ethics, humanity and empathy illustrated here is unfathomable,” another added.

Clinic Confirms: Doctor “No Longer Employed”

Blue Fish Pediatrics, where Propst worked, initially announced she had been suspended — but later confirmed she had been fired.

“We strongly condemn the comments that were made in that post. That post does not reflect the values, standards, or mission of Blue Fish Pediatrics,” the clinic stated.

“We do not support or condone any statement that politicizes tragedy, diminishes human dignity, or fails to clearly uphold compassion for every child and family, regardless of background or beliefs.”

Texas Medical Board Responds

Dr. Sherif Zaafran, head of the Texas Medical Board, responded by saying:

“There is no place for politicization. The entire focus needs to be on looking for survivors.”

While the board has not announced a formal investigation, Zaafran confirmed that any complaints will be thoroughly investigated.

Memorial Hermann Disowns the Doctor

Memorial Hermann Health System, which had previously listed Propst as affiliated, also issued a statement:

“We have zero tolerance for such rhetoric which does not reflect the mission, vision or values of our system. This provider is not employed by Memorial Hermann.”

Both Blue Fish Pediatrics and Memorial Hermann scrubbed Propst’s profile pages from their websites following the backlash.
