Attorney General Pam Bondi has provided a major update on the Jeffrey Epstein documents, revealing that the Southern District of New York (SDNY) has been withholding thousands of pages of crucial files. In an interview with Mark Levin, Bondi discussed her findings and stated her commitment to full transparency for the American people.
During her appearance on The Mark Levin Show, Bondi explained that while her office had already released 120 pages of documents, she discovered that SDNY is still sitting on thousands more. “I started asking for these documents right when I came into office,” Bondi told Levin.
“We carefully redacted them, of course, to be sure that 254 young girls, women, who are victims of sex crimes and sex trafficking, their personal information was redacted and out of there to protect them.” Bondi continued, “So I’m going through it and I kept saying, there has to be more, there has to be more. I’m assured that’s it.”
“I found out this week that a source told me, New York, SDNY, they’re sitting on thousands of pages of documents regarding Epstein… thousands! And of course, you’ve seen the very strong letter. We will get everything.”
Levin questioned whether SDNY was intentionally keeping the files secret due to the high-profile names potentially implicated. “I assume the Southern District of New York is or has been holding on to this information for a reason. That is, they don’t like the names on the list,” Levin asked.
“And of course, we know New York is a hotbed of the Democrat Party and that includes in legal circles. Do you think that’s part of the issue here?”
Bondi did not directly confirm this but stated, “I have not reviewed the information yet and as a lawyer, as a prosecutor, I want to review everything before I make a firm conclusion, but I think it’s very interesting that they withheld that from us. And I will find out who withheld it, and they will not be working for us anymore.”

“Nothing can be withheld on that. Of course, as you know, grand jury information, anything confidential will be withheld under the law. And we’re going to do everything in our power to protect the victims so they’re not further victimized also,” Bondi finished.
The latest comes just days after Bondi accused the FBI’s New York field office of obstructing the release of Epstein-related documents. In a scathing letter sent to FBI Director Kash Patel, Bondi demanded full compliance, accusing SDNY and the FBI of withholding or possibly even destroying evidence. She set a deadline of February 28 for full disclosure of all files related to Epstein’s case.
“I repeatedly questioned whether this was the full set of documents responsive to my request and was repeatedly assured by the FBI that we had received the full set of documents,” Bondi wrote last week. “I learned from a source that the FBI Field Office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein.”
Recent allegations suggest the FBI may have even destroyed some documents to protect influential figures.
