The White House has updated its official LinkedIn profile picture to a photo of President Donald Trump — a move that means every past White House staffer’s LinkedIn page now displays Trump’s face under their work experience.
From Obama to Biden Staffers

On Tuesday, LinkedIn users noticed that former President Barack Obama’s profile page — which lists “President of the United States” under experience — now displayed a picture of Trump’s face.
The change affects all former employees who list “The White House” as a past employer, including staffers from the Obama and Biden administrations.
Screenshots showed even the LinkedIn profile of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ campaign manager carrying Trump’s image.
White House: “That’s the Whole Point”
White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung confirmed the move was intentional trolling.
“That’s the whole point, dummy. Trolololololol,” Cheung posted on X in response to a former White House staffer who had complained.
Reactions
The trolling quickly went viral online:
The account End Wokeness noted: “Biden staffers now all have Trump’s face on their LinkedIn after a WH profile pic update.”
Eric Daugherty of Florida Voice shared a screenshot of Biden’s campaign manager’s profile, writing: “Whoever at the White House made the decision to change the profile pic to Donald Trump needs an IMMEDIATE raise.”
