NYC Mayor suggests police have identified suspect who killed UnitedHealthcare CEO

It’s being reported now that police have identified the suspect who killed the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and that “the net is tightening” around him.

Adams was speaking to reporters at a Police Athletic League holiday party, according to the New York Post, when he was asked about the suspect’s name.

“We don’t want to release that now,” Adams said. “If we do, we are basically giving a tip to the person we are seeking and we do not want to give him an upper hand at all. Let him continue to believe he can hide behind the mask. We revealed his face. We’re going to reveal who he is and we’re going to bring him to justice.”

The mayor’s office later clarified his answer to explain that he meant officials didn’t want to say whether or not they have the killer’s name.

That quote from Adams has spawned the garbage media into writing that the suspect has been identified:

Sure, it does sound that’s what the mayor suggested. He probably let the cat out of the bag and his office is now doing cleanup.

I’ll just say we don’t know for sure if the police have identified the suspect but I really hope they have and they get him soon.
