Whoopi Goldberg claimed that a bakery in New York City refused to serve her of her political beliefs, but that was a complete lie.
The bakery, which has been around for 150 years, responded to these lies today and explained that what really happened was that 60-some-odd-year-old boiler went down and had to be replaced. Because the reputation of the bakery is so good, they didn’t want to commit to making something and it not be up to their normal standard.
