NEWS JUST IN! New details revealed on ISIS terror plot: ‘Pumpkin day’

Five suspects were arrested by the FBI on Friday. They are suspected of being involved in a terror plot that was planned for Halloween weekend in Michigan. The FBI says it has ties with ISIS.

The FBI announced to X that “this morning, the FBI foiled a possible terrorist attack in Michigan and arrested several subjects who were allegedly planning a violent assault over Halloween weekend.”

According to senior law enforcement officers briefed about the case, federal agents arrested the suspects near Dearborn and Inkster. Investigators claim the group talked about attacking on Halloween, a day they called “pumpkin” according to their account.

The authorities moved to stop anyone from attacking, but it is still not clear if the crew chose a specific target or had set a time. Investigators, according to two officials, are examining whether or not the group became radicalized by itself.

The FBI still hasn’t released names or court documents. Officials confirmed that the suspects were in possession of firearms.

The agents tracked the group for several days in Detroit before they acted. The officials have stressed that there is not a threat to public safety.

Patel later praised the operations. Through swift action and coordination with local partners, an act of potential terror was prevented before it unfolded. This FBI’s vigilance prevented a potentially tragic attack. Thanks to their dedication, Michigan can enjoy a happy and safe Halloween.
