NEW: Terror Attack Thwarted On Major College Campus

A University of Delaware student is facing a pile of serious charges after police say they caught him with a small arsenal and a notebook packed with disturbing sketches of the school’s police department.

Luqmaan Khan, 25, was busted just before midnight on Nov. 24. The university confirmed he’s an undergraduate and barred him from all campuses while investigators dig in, interim president Laura Carlson said in a statement.

Cops say they first spotted a white Toyota Tacoma parked after hours in a local park. Khan was behind the wheel and allegedly refused to get out, then fought officers when they tried to arrest him.

Once they searched the truck, the situation escalated fast. Inside, officers say they found a loaded handgun, extended magazines, body armor, a laptop, and binoculars. They also uncovered a notebook filled with writings on warfare tactics, assault plans, and a detailed diagram of the University of Delaware Police Department.

According to police, the notebook even singled out a UD police officer by name and included a sketch of the department’s building that mapped out entry and exit points.

Federal agents later raided Khan’s home and allegedly found another handgun fitted with an illegal “switch” that could convert it into a machine gun.

Khan now faces several felony weapons charges, including possession of a large-capacity magazine and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Authorities say he has been handed over to the FBI as the case widens.
