Pelosi recognized Transgender Visibility Day and César Chávez Day on Easter Sunday, despite the fact that California state government offices will officially observe Chávez Day on Monday, April 1.
Pelosi tweeted in tribute to the late farmworker union organizer and civil rights advocate on Sunday, following a message of Easter well-wishes to Christians across the country.
