Nancy Pelosi Humiliates Herself While Traveling Abroad

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, while representing the United States abroad, made some highly questionable statements during an interview with RTE’s “Six One News” in Ireland. Pelosi, who is a Democrat representing California’s 11th Congressional District, attacked the Supreme Court, referred to President Joe Biden as someone with a great vision for America, and made misguided remarks about the Israel-Hamas war.

The conflict in the Middle East has put Democrats in a difficult position. While many younger members of the party have expressed support for the Palestinians, the majority of sensible individuals, regardless of their political affiliation, have favored Israel. Even if some of the accusations against Israel were true, it would still be difficult to criticize their response given the brutality and savagery of Hamas’ terrorist attacks on October 7th.

However, with the upcoming November election and Biden’s declining popularity, Pelosi feels the need to make him more appealing to young voters. As a result, she chose to condemn Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s methods of waging war.

“We recognize Israel’s right to protect itself,” she said. “We reject the policy and the practice of Netanyahu — terrible. What could be worse than what he has done in response?”

Naturally, she neglected to provide extensive information, but it is difficult to understand how Netanyahu’s reaction to the brutal attacks could be labeled as “terrible”.

Despite a few notable mistakes, Israel’s approach has generally been calculated, aiming to minimize civilian casualties while targeting terrorists in Gaza. Pelosi’s actions went beyond just criticizing the leader of a major US ally, as she also demanded Netanyahu’s resignation.

“He should resign. He’s ultimately responsible,” the congresswoman said, claiming Netanyahu had been a “problem” for many years.

“I don’t know whether he’s afraid of peace, incapable of peace or just doesn’t want peace, but he has been an obstacle to the two-state solution,” Pelosi said.
