The MSNBC female hosts, including Jen Psaki, Rachel Maddow, and Joy Reid, found amusement in and ridiculed Virginia voters for their apprehensions regarding illegal immigration.
“Look at some of these exit polls. I live in Virginia. Immigration was the number one issue,” said Psaki.
Exit polling data reveals that immigration emerged as the foremost concern, holding true in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Maddow and the panel of female commentators found this information amusing.
“Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia,” she declared.

Psaki leveled allegations against President Trump, claiming that he was instilling fear of undocumented immigrants in people. Maddow referred to it as the creation of imaginary threats, while Reid insinuated that it was due to voters’ racist tendencies.
However, it is important to acknowledge that the fear surrounding this issue is genuine and not rooted in racism. In late February, an individual from Venezuela who was in the country illegally was charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old child in Virginia. This individual had been apprehended and subsequently released by Border Patrol prior to the incident.
Furthermore, we have recently witnessed the tragic murder of Laken Riley at the hands of an undocumented immigrant. The 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia lost her life to an individual who had also been previously arrested.
“Democrats are laughing about the illegal immigration that’s hurting your city,” the House Judiciary GOP posted on X Tuesday. “Maybe they should read about Laken Riley. Disgusting.”
