Mexicans Furious About Americans Moving to Mexico

In a stunning twist of irony, the people of Mexico City are now protesting the influx of American immigrants, blaming them for rising housing costs, “stealing homes,” and “imposing their culture.”

On July 4th — while Americans celebrated Independence Day — hundreds of Mexican demonstrators flooded the streets, accusing U.S. expats of ruining their neighborhoods.

“Speak Spanish or get out of here!” one protester yelled — a line many Americans may recognize from border debates inside the U.S.

Americans Now the “Invaders” in Mexico

Since 2020, wealthy Americans — many of them fleeing blue-state chaos — have moved south of the border seeking lower living costs and a higher quality of life.

Thanks to Mexico’s generous immigration policy, Americans can stay up to 180 days without a visa, fueling a real estate boom in areas like Condesa and Roma, the same neighborhoods that have now become hotbeds of anti-American rage.

Ironically, millions of Mexicans have crossed into the U.S. — both legally and illegally — over the last few decades, prompting demands for border security and immigration reform.

Now? They don’t like it when the shoe is on the other foot.

Protest Turns Violent — Tourists Attacked

What began as a peaceful demonstration quickly devolved into chaos, with masked rioters vandalizing high-end businesses, spray-painting hate speech, and even harassing foreign tourists.

Graffiti included phrases like:

Video from the protest shows storefronts shattered, glass breaking, and mobs storming through upscale shopping districts.

According to the Associated Press, the riot spread to several blocks, targeting businesses that cater to foreigners and affluent residents.

“A protest by hundreds against gentrification and mass tourism… turned violent when a small number of people began smashing storefronts and harassing foreigners,” AP reported.

The media and Democrat politicians in the U.S. constantly claim that immigration is a human right, and concerns about border security are racist.

But in Mexico?

• Protesters call U.S. immigrants “parasites” and demand strict housing controls.

• Foreigners are physically attacked for changing the local culture.
