Married CEO Caught ‘Cheating’ on Coldplay’s Kiss Cam

A viral video from a Coldplay concert in Boston has rocked the tech world—showing married CEO Andy Byron of the $1.3 billion data firm Astronomer appearing cozy with his Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, on the stadium’s kiss cam.

The video was taken Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, where the two were caught snuggling on camera before both appeared visibly shocked when they noticed themselves on the jumbotron.

Cabot hid her face in her hands and quickly walked away. Byron ducked out of view. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, watching along with the crowd, commented live from the stage:

“Oh, look at these two. Alright, come on, you’re okay. Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Wife Deletes Facebook After Viral Fallout

According to Page Six, Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, deleted her Facebook account Thursday morning after being flooded with comments tagging her in the now-viral footage.

  • First, she removed her married name

  • Then, she shut down her entire profile

Her account reportedly included family photos and personal info that was quickly targeted as the scandal spread across social media.

The Office Romance?

Byron had recently praised Cabot’s hiring in a public statement just months ago.

“Kristin brings extensive HR leadership and a people-first mindset to Astronomer,” Byron said in a now widely shared announcement. “We’re thrilled to have her on board.”

That statement didn’t age well.

This may be a career-ending moment for the pair—especially since the company is reportedly valued over $1.3 billion, and the scandal involves both the CEO and the Head of HR.
