Law Enforcement Searches Epstein’s Zorro Ranch Amid Disturbing Allegations

A comprehensive law enforcement search of Jeffrey Epstein’s vast New Mexico ranch is stirring up disturbing allegations that two young girls might have lost their lives during purported sexual activities on the property.

This week, investigators arrived at the 7,500-acre Zorro Ranch, situated near the small town of Stanley, approximately 30 miles south of Santa Fe. They are part of a newly established “truth commission” dedicated to unveiling the realities of what occurred at this isolated location.

Local rumors have long suggested that at least two girls were possibly killed at the ranch amid violent sexual encounters. However, these supposed victims have never been officially named, and no bodies have been confirmed.

Authorities believe that this extensive search could finally bring clarity to the ongoing mystery.

Agents from the New Mexico Department of Justice, alongside state police and the local sheriff’s office, launched their search on Monday and continued their efforts into Tuesday.

The initiative is linked to a truth commission that state lawmakers unanimously approved last month, aimed at investigating Epstein’s New Mexico enterprises and assessing whether there were any failings in past inquiries.

“We have heard years of allegations and rumors about Epstein’s activities in New Mexico, but unfortunately, federal investigations have failed to put together an official record,” remarked State Rep. Andrea Romero, who spearheaded the commission’s creation and now serves as a member.

“With this truth commission, we can finally fill in the gaps by investigating the failures that led to the horrific allegations of abuse and crime at Zorro Ranch, so we can learn from them and prevent such atrocities from taking place in our state going forward.”

Authorities express confidence in their ability to locate any remains if they exist on the property and to identify the alleged victims.

New Mexico Department of Justice spokesperson Lauren Rodriguez stated that the current owners of the ranch — the family of Texas real estate magnate Don Huffines — have given investigators unrestricted access to the sprawling land and adjacent public areas.

Huffines has previously mentioned plans to transform the secluded estate into a Christian retreat.

Epstein acquired the ranch in 1993 from former New Mexico Governor Bruce King. Following Epstein’s death in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, the property was initially listed for sale at $23.1 million before its price was subsequently reduced to $18 million.

This latest search represents one of the most thorough examinations of the notorious ranch since Epstein’s passing, as investigators seek to determine whether the long-standing allegations about the property were ever fully scrutinized.
